人物类是雅思口语中常考的一个话题，怎样才能够根据一个话题充分发挥、生动描述？以下为大家总结的答题思路、词汇和句型，希望能对大家有所帮助。

二、答题思路 1. 建立人物结构： 包括背景信息、人物外貌、人物性格、主要成就、吸引你的特质等。就背景信息而言，很简单，就是简单介绍一下这个人是谁、跟你的关系、年龄、职业、过往经验等等，一切跟话题和你主要想表达的内容有必要联系的都可以介绍一下。（NewStars教育移民）
2. 介绍人物的基本特征：
这里要注意的是，介绍外貌应避免俗套的一些表达，比如：She’s tall and thin, and she has two big eyes.”、“Her hair is long and black.”等。 “tall and thin”已经俗不可耐，tall还尚可，thin本身是个贬义词，意为削瘦的、稀落的。这样的表达只能使你的分数停留在5分，甚至更低。
关于头发的描述方法有：thin hair头发稀，wavy hair卷发/波浪发，curly hair卷毛，straight hair直发，bald秃顶的，dishevelled hair凌乱的头发。

其实考察考生描述人物外貌描述的好不好，关键是看考生能否让考官听后抓住人物的特色、对人物留下印象。这需要考生选取一些有特色的地方来描述，让考官印象深刻。
3. 描述人物性格： 一般我们通过描述性格及事件来突出人物值得借鉴学习的地方，所以对于人物性格描述更不可落入俗套。比如很多考生描述朋友就只会用friendly、kind、nice等，其实有很多词都可以表达友好、友善，比如amicable、amiable、benign等。
可以描述人的特质的加分表达有：aspiring有志气的/有抱负的，dynamic生机勃勃的，enthusiastic热心的，faithful守信的/忠诚的，frank坦率的，forceful（性格）坚强的，honest诚实的，humorous幽默的，independent有主见的，industrious勤奋的，trustworthy可信赖的，sincere真诚的，motivated有动力的，responsible负责任的，determined坚定的，cooperative合作的，strong-willed意志坚定的等。考生可从以上词汇中挑选，并选择合适的故事进行包装，进而突出人物特点。
4. 描述相关事件： 在对人物的外貌、性格等特征描述完之后，接下来就需要考生搜集素材，通过一个个事例来把人物丰富起来，而具体选择什么样的事例、如何叙述，因题而异。
大家可以往两个大方向着手准备：
（1）熟悉的人：可用来描述家庭成员、朋友、邻居、帮助过你的人、老人、孩子等； （2）名人：电影明星、体育明星、歌手、成功的人、你羡慕的人等。还可以跟电影、书、音乐结合。
